Silver Springs State Park is an amazing place to take your family and visit.  Whether you're staying for the weekend or just visiting for the day Silver Springs has a lot to offer everybody of all ages.  Most importantly, it provided peace, relaxation, and quality family time.  

Silver Springs is a 4,000 acre state park located about 80 miles NW of downtown Orlando, Florida, and has several springs feeding the 5 mile long Silver Springs River with crystal clear water.  While we were there not everything was open due to CoVid19 but that didn't stop up from having an amazing time.  

The camp sites at Silver Springs were absolutely amazing.  There was a ton of room, the sites were spread out so you weren't on top of each other, and well kept.  While all have electric and water hook-ups, there are a few with full hook-ups if you're lucky enough to secure one.  But that's ok because the bath house was very nice.  And lets not forget the spacious spots made it very pet friendly.  They also had nice fire rings positioned to minimize the spread of fire.  We currently use a Jayco 17BH for camping which has been a great starter but I'm feeling the need for something a little larger.  And when it was time to pack up and leave the dump stations were able to handle two campers at once.
